57.)  As The Holy Bible Advised:

(1 John 2:15-17): Love not the world,
neither the things that are in the world.
If any man love the world, the love of the
Father is not in him.

For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh,
and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life,
is not of the Father, but is of the world.

And the world passes away, and the lust
thereof [with it]: but he that does the
Will of God abides forever.


(Matthew 7:21): Not every one that says unto
me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of
Heaven; but he that doeth [carries out] the
Will of my Father which is in Heaven.


(Matthew 7:13-14) .. For wide is the gate, and
broad is the way that leads to destruction, and
many there be which go in thereat; Because strait
is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads
to life, and few there be that find it.


(Luke 9:23 / Mark 8:34 / Matthew 16:24): If any
man will come after Me, let him deny himself,
and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.
(Luke 22:40/42): Pray that you enter not into
temptation. … Father, not my will,
but Thine be done.


58.)  And As Lord Revealed In Agni Yoga:

a.)  We renounced and thus acquired.

(i)  We gave away and thus received.

(ii)  We deprived ourselves and thus freed
ourselves from temptation. The one traveling
the path of knowledge walks like the lion of the
desert. Who will respond to the roar of a lion? Only
another lion, free of fear.  ( Agni Yoga (1929), 481. )


b.)  .. Preserve your heart in purity, in order
that I may enter there and surround you with
armor.

(i)  Remember that if you give in spirit to the
Lord what has been taken from you, He will
reward you a hundredfold. Thus, direct your
thought to the Lord and let the Lord enter
your heart.

(ii)  Without the Lord it will be narrow in the
empty heart, and like peas in a dried sheepskin,
wrath will jar within the empty heart.

(ii)  Fill your heart with the Lord so fully that
no enemy can force his way through.
