*8.)  On this new level:

a.)  Our instructions become less
frequent and more brief, and one’s
work depends more on one’s ability for
independent action.


b.)  Friends will be few.


c.)  Obstacles will pile up like
seemingly unscalable mountains, and
achievements will seem insignificant
!


*d.)  The influence of the subtlest
energies will not be so evident.


e.)  The intermittent [continuously
starting and stopping of], so called
‘sacred pains’ will torture one
!!!


*f.)  The divisibility and transmissions of
the spirit will still be beyond explanation.
*5.)  The sequential process of
growth of the spirit:


a.)  The first calls are pleasant and
benevolent, and like a child, the
cared-for beginner has no
responsibilities.


b.)  But when the consciousness grows,
the spirit becomes worthy of special
important tasks.


c.)  These tasks contradict the outworn
ways of mundane [non-spiritual, worldly]
thinking, and therefore involve new
difficulties and dangers
!!!


*6.)  Truly, only a few learn to
rejoice at the need to face and
conquer obstacles
!


*7.)  Many more, yearn to return to the
bygone half-developed consciousness.
